Privacy Policy for Traveled

This Privacy Policy explains how Manuel Fessen (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles your information when you use the Traveled application (“App”, “Traveled”).

1. Local Processing & iCloud

Your travel data (countries, regions, and cities you’ve marked) is stored locally on your device and synced securely across your devices via your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to this data.

2. Analytics (PostHog)

To help us understand how the App is used and to improve the user experience, we use PostHog for user analytics. We only collect analytics data if you explicitly agree to it. This data is anonymized where possible and is used solely for improving the App’s features, functionality, and performance. You can opt-out at any time in the app settings.

3. Subscription Processing (RevenueCat)

For processing app subscriptions and the premium paywall, we use RevenueCat. RevenueCat helps us manage entitlements securely. When you make a purchase, Apple handles your payment details—we never see or store your credit card information. RevenueCat only receives anonymous identifiers and purchase receipt validation data necessary to unlock premium features across your devices.

4. Third-Party Services

Other than PostHog (for optional analytics) and RevenueCat (for managing premium subscriptions), we do not share data with third-party tracking or advertising networks.

5. Your Rights

Under applicable privacy laws, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your data. For the travel history synced to iCloud, you can manage and delete this directly through your device’s settings. For any analytics data associated with your usage (if opted-in), you may contact us to request deletion.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other means before the changes take effect.
