This Privacy Policy (Policy) explains how Speedtracker (we, us or the App) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your personal data when you install and use the Speedtracker app. It replaces all prior versions of our privacy policy.

1. Location & Trip Data

   • GPS coordinates, speed, routes, trip metadata, name of the trip
   • Stored on your device and automatically synchronized with our secure Supabase cloud database using anonymous authentication (no manual account required)
   • Used to enable cross-device synchronization and leaderboard functionality

2. Account Data

   • Email address and authentication information
   • Profile information you choose to provide
   • Required for cross-device synchronization and leaderboard features

   • App performance and error reporting logs (anonymous, if you opt-in)

Your trip and location data is stored in our Supabase database whenever you record a trip, using anonymous or authenticated sessions to enable cross-device synchronization and leaderboard functionality. This data is protected with industry-standard security measures.

We do not sell or rent any personal data to advertisers or third parties.

5. Data Retention

• Routes & Trips: until you delete them from both your device and our cloud database
• Account Data: until you delete your account
• Subscription Records: subscription period + 3 years (legal obligations)
• Usage Analytics: anonymized, up to 1 year

Speedtracker is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

THE SPEEDTRACKER APP IS A TOOL FOR RECORDING SPEED AND ROUTES ONLY.
YOU USE THE APP AT YOUR OWN RISK.
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACCIDENTS, INJURIES, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR LEGAL VIOLATIONS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THIS APP WHILE DRIVING OR OTHERWISE.
